What are you doing October 10-13? If you’re at all interested in fire sprinklers and other forms of fire suppression, you won’t want to miss the American Fire Sprinkler Association’s (AFSA) national trade show, which will be taking place at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona.
From their website, “The American Fire Sprinkler Association, (AFSA) is a non-profit, international association representing merit shop fire sprinkler contractors, dedicated to the educational advancement of its members and promotion of the use of automatic fire sprinkler systems. AFSA believes that the installation of fire sprinklers could save thousands of lives and billions of dollars lost to fire each year.”
We at Rich Fire are in full agreement with that mission statement and so are the more than 100 fire sprinkler companies that will be on hand for the national trade show. These companies will be showing off products and services – tricks of the trade, you can say. Not only that, but there will be educational seminars (the estimate is that it’s over 50 hours’ worth!) and opportunities to network. This is a wise idea since it’s a fire sprinkler industry who’s who!
If you’re interested, you should try to secure a booth today; preregistration numbers are already outpacing last year’s event. Clearly, there is an interest in saving lives, the dedication to improving one’s craft and services – and that’s what it takes to stay ahead of fires, wouldn’t you say? We need to spread the gospel of fire sprinkler systems!
